Canyonlands Natural History Association is a nonprofit organization established to assist the scientific and educational efforts of the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the USDA Forest Service, agencies that together oversee more than 8.5 million acres of federal land on the Colorado Plateau.

CNHA offers several membership options to those who wish to join and support the association and our mission. Membership dues are paid yearly and are tax-deductible.

There are five membership levels:

  • Individual Member ($25) - One membership card
  • Plateau ($40) - Includes two (2) membership cards and two issues of Sojourns Magazine - 48 page full color journal (2 issues annually, January/July)
  • Discovery ($100) - All the benefits of the Plateau Member, Canyon Country Calendar, $75 of your contribution will go towards our Discovery Pool Program*
  • Partner ($250) - All benefits of the Plateau Member, CNHA logo t-shirt, $150 of your contribution will go towards our Discovery Pool Program*
  • Benefactor ($500) - All benefits of the Partner Member, CNHA logo tote bag, Grand Views Driving Guide - Highlights nineteen spectacular vistas (48 pages), One night stay for two at the Grand View Guesthouse located at the base of the La Sal Mountains in Moab, UT, $300 of your contribution will go towards our Discovery Pool Program*

*The Discovery Pool is a program in which special funds are set aside to promote science and research by our public land partners.

In 2006, CNHA contributed over $500,000 to support educational, interpretive, and scientific programs for the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management and United States Forest Service on the Colorado Plateau.
