2009 Community Artist-in-the-Parks Schedule

The Community Artist-in-the-Parks program highlights the connection between an artist and his/her inspiration. During the 2009 season, Chad Niehaus, an award-winning artist based in Moab, will be in the SE Utah Group National Parks (Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and Natural Bridges and Hovenweep National Monuments).

To discover how Chad turns inspiration into art, come visit him in the parks (see schedule below). Chat with him about an artist's inspiration, witness the creative process, and maybe purchase an original print that you saw him create.

We've seen real success so far in this program's first year. If you aren't able to visit Chad in the parks, you can also purchase his prints at the Arches bookstore or directly from Chad by visiting his web page.

Please confirm dates and times as the schedule may be subject to change. Contact: Nancy Holman, 435-719-2240
