CNHA 2012 Photo Contest Winners Announced!

The First Prize winner of CNHA's 2012 Photo Contest goes to Patty Miller! Her amazing photo captures a stormy sky and lightning behind the rock formations in the Windows Section of Arches Nationall Park. Our judges liked the composition, quality and subtle color of the photo and remarked at how hard it is to photograph that split second when lightning strikes. Patty's wins $100 and her photo will be featured in CNHA's e-newsletter, Facebook page and on our website.
Mark Stacey has won Second Prize for his photo of a winter scene in the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park. His photo of Mini Half Dome and Candlestick Tower in Canyonlands National Park is simply beautiful and so well composed. The photo captures the many textures of snow and rock along with the quality of winter light. Mark wins $50 and his photo will be featured in CNHA's e-newsletter, Facebook page and on our website.
Congratulations to our winners! And a HUGE thank you to all who entered this year's photo contest.
