Celebrate the Night Sky at Hovenweep National Monument!


You are invited out for an evening under the dark skies of Hovenweep, this Saturday, Nov 16th with Cortez Astronomer Ken Geiger will take us on a celestial tour of the sky. Ken will help us learn about the Moon, Venus and a variety of stars including the Andromeda Galaxy.

Where: Meet at the Hovenweep Visitor parking lot. Program begins at 6pm and ends at 8 pm.
• Dress warmly
• Bring a small flashlight with red tape or covering
• Bring a chair or blanket to sit on
