MIC Lecture - Desert Rims to Mountain High by Author Richard Fleck

Join Richard Fleck, Thursday, May 1st at 6 pm, for a reading, slides and "how to" on adventure writing in ther back country of the American West.
Inspired by his ranger days more than forty-five years ago as well as more recent rambles, Richard Fleck has created these descriptive essays that take readers on adventures from shimmering desert heat to snowy summits while lovingly weaving in threads of classic and contemporary nature and adventure literature. Fleck counterpoints spiritual experiences in the desert, canyon lands, and dry prairies with summits of lofty peaks and invites the reader to engage in an equally potent but different kind of natural reality.
Thursday, May 1st at 6 pm. Moab Information Center, Corner of Main & Center St.
Lectures are free and open to the public.
