Corona Arch - BLM photoGraffiti is a growing problem. Nearly every day, rangers find words or shapes drawn, carved, scratched, or painted on rocks at Arches National Park. The rock wall at the north end of the bike/pedestrian bridge at Lions Park has ancient rock art, historic inscriptions, and a growing number of new names, initials, and designs carved into it. Ancient rock art sites in the area have also been vandalized with increasing frequency.
If you witness vandalism on Moab area public lands, please report it. If you are in a national park, report it to a ranger or at the visitor center. If it is on lands managed by the BLM, call the Moab Field Office at (435) 259-2100. For the La Sal Mountains, contact the Moab Ranger District at (435) 259-7155.
